Terms & Conditions

We are Classic Lanka Travels, a government registered reputed tour operator & a travel agency in Sri Lanka. And we look forward to the opportunity to act as your booking agent for your travel needs. These terms and conditions describe what you are legally entitled to expect from us when you purchase travel related services through us, in addition to your obligations as a customer. The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Classic Lanka Travels. The term “you” refers to the customer visiting our website, booking a reservation through us or otherwise using our services.

Booking confirmation

All Bookings will be confirmed by 50% upfront payment as a booking guarantee. Once you confirm a booking with us, we will send you the relevant bank details or the link of our online payment gateway via an email along with the formal travel voucher. The advance payment has to be done within 03 days of your booking confirmation. Once you done the payment, send us the scanned copy of your payment slip or receipt via an email. And once we receive your payment, we will confirm you by a return email. The balance payment can be done three weeks prior to the arrival date.

Booking cancellation

Classic Lanka Travels has right to cancel or neutralize the booking if the payment is not made within the agreed payment date.

Cancellation of your travel plan by you must be notified to us in writing, and will take effect the day we receive it. The following penalties will apply dependent upon the number of days before your travel plan commence:

  •  Cancel the booking in 60 days or more; Forfeit of deposit (Refund 100%)
  • Cancel the booking between 30 to 59 days; 95% of total ground arrangement cost will be refunded
  • Cancel the booking between 20 to 29 days; 85% of total ground arrangement cost will be refunded
  • 19 days or less than 19 days; Non-refundable

    Booking amendments

    Classic Lanka Travels offers flexible tour packages & itineraries all the time.

    After the booking confirmation, if a traveler wishes to amend or change the agreed tour itinerary, such as dates, tour activities and the nature of the services, must be informed in advance to do the necessary changes. Traveler may endure cancellation charges or additional costs of the amended tour itinerary.

        Insurance

        Every traveler must have valid travel insurance and details of the policy which are clearly stated before traveling.

        Health condition

        Classic Lanka Travels strongly recommends every traveler who wish to travel to Sri Lanka to check their health condition before traveling. If a traveler suffers from any sickness, meet and get medical advices and necessary health documents before traveling.  If a traveler suffer any sickness and an injury during the holiday in Sri Lanka with us, please inform our tour representatives immediately. They will provide suitable advices and guidance. This must be carried out in conjunction with your personal travel insurance policy.

        Hotel accommodations

        Classic Lanka Travels strongly recommends every traveler who wish to travel to Sri Lanka to check their health condition before traveling. If a traveler suffers from any sickness, meet and get medical advices and necessary health documents before traveling.  If a traveler suffer any sickness and an injury during the holiday in Sri Lanka with us, please inform our tour representatives immediately. They will provide suitable advices and guidance. This must be carried out in conjunction with your personal travel insurance policy.
